Sugar Bake started as a small personal baking blog in 2018, when founder Lily Chen decided there was a gap between beautiful dessert photos and recipes that actually worked at home.

Fed up with recipes that looked gorgeous online but failed in real kitchens, Lily committed to testing every single recipe a minimum of three times before sharing — using only standard American measurements, everyday ingredients, and clear instructions anyone could follow.

What started as a personal project has grown into a community of over 50,000 home bakers across the United States who trust Sugar Bake for their holiday baking, birthday cakes, and everything sweet in between.
